A nice sky outside my house. I couldn't get out there fast enough... in the five minutes from when I noticed it, to wen I took the actual picture, it lost the lighting thatmade it spectacular. You can only see a little bit of the orange lighting on thetops of the bottoms of the clouds, which was much more vibrant minutes earlier.

This is this-year's Christmas tree. It's a fiber-optic tree, thoughit's not illuminated since I've misplaced the power-adapter. I havepearl-lights on it, but they're washed out by the camera flash. The more interesting thing of note is my choice in ornaments lately.I had the brilliant idea a few years ago to drill out the primer capsfrom some of my spent shotgun-shell casings, and replace them withhooks. Since the casings were red and green, the Christmas colors, Ifigured they might make for some nice politically incorrect and inexpensivetree ornaments. Combine those with my nice overpriced Star Trek shipornaments, and you get a terribly nerdy christmas tree.

A close-up of the tree. I'm such a geek. :)
