A nice sky outside my house. I couldn't get out there fast enough... in the five minutes
from when I noticed it, to wen I took the actual picture, it lost the lighting that
made it spectacular. You can only see a little bit of the orange lighting on the
tops of the bottoms of the clouds, which was much more vibrant minutes earlier.

This is this-year's Christmas tree. It's a fiber-optic tree, though
it's not illuminated since I've misplaced the power-adapter. I have
pearl-lights on it, but they're washed out by the camera flash.
The more interesting thing of note is my choice in ornaments lately.
I had the brilliant idea a few years ago to drill out the primer caps
from some of my spent shotgun-shell casings, and replace them with
hooks. Since the casings were red and green, the Christmas colors, I
figured they might make for some nice politically incorrect and inexpensive
tree ornaments. Combine those with my nice overpriced Star Trek ship
ornaments, and you get a terribly nerdy christmas tree.

A close-up of the tree. I'm such a geek. :)
