An updated shot of the rack. Looking pretty spiffy, eh?

My recent recabling went well. Not as clean and tight as I'd
have preferred, but not bad for my first try. And it's significantly
better than before, with all of the cables hanging loose. Click to see
a closer view.
I find it amusing that in the zoom-in picture, it looks like Banshee's
fan isn't turning. It was... the camera/flash is simply that quick. :)

I knew that soon after recabling the rack, I'd soon have a reason
to muck around with it again. :) Today I added another machine in the
rack, and re-arranged things a bit.
As you can see, I have "Cray" nameplates,
made of machined aluminum, in the mix here. As we all know, putting "Cray"
on the side makes it go faster. :)
(The plates are from actual Cray computers. I'm not sure what model they
came from, though I believe the Cray X-MP
models had such plaques [another picture])
As usual, not pictured here are Liche and Vampire.

This is my old 286, my first computer that was really "mine" (and
not a "family" computer). For the bulk of the time that I ran
my BBS, this was the
computer it ran on. It is pictured with it's original Hercules
amber monitor, though for much of the time it was in use, it had
a VGA adapter (as it does currently).

Updated picture... blah, blah, blah...
