End of the day, out in the parking area. After a long day in armor, it's
nice to pull it all off... but I wouldn't trade it. I like to get the
plate armor out to faire a couple times each season.

Gah! Ed is sewing. Be afraid!

And the results of the sewing... A nice new surcoat! Along
with my new helmet, I was looking pretty slick, and getting
stopped for pictures and questions and admiration all day.
I never get this much attention, even in my plate armor.

It's always nice to find a fellow knight and enthusiast
at the faire. It doesn't happen often enough, I must say.
You see a lot of people with individual armor elements,
or highly fantasy-like armor, or highly mismatched armor. But
when people go the extra mile to have a helmet and surcoat,
it's quite cool. I don't always bring my helm, but after
the success I had with the new one this day, I shall do
so much more frequently now.

Discussing the crusades, perhaps?
