My custom banner, made by Dirk & Arrow. It sits between my first two swords that I collected. The first one (on the right) was just a $20 wall-hanger that falls apart when I mess with it. I was about 13 and finding it for sale at such a price in an antique shop was like hitting the jackpot. The second sword (on the left) was the only time in my youth that I ever saved up for something all summer long. I bought it from Baltimore Knife and Sword at MDRF, and I was probably about 15 or 16 at the time.

My thumb injury from WMAW. These things happen, of
course, when you're fighting with steel swords. This one just happened to
slip under the last plate of my gauntlet and hit my thumbnail from the front.
It turned blue right away, and now it's a lovely dark purple. I had to pierce
it with a needle a few times to drain the blood, and now it's just a matter of
waiting it out. It looks worse than it feels. :)
