Albion Landgraf

purchased in 2007

This is one of my favorite Albion designs. I ordered with one with the 10% off sale that was offered at the WMAW 2007 event. I received it in December, only a few months later.

To me, this sword has a little bit of everything that I love best in swords. It has that sort of forward-curved "chisel wedge" guard design that I like, but nicely decorated with tasteful trefoil cutouts. It has a disc pommel, with a cross design etched into it. The feel and balance are wonderful. It's capable in both the thrust and the cut without being highly optimized for one over the other.

In early 2010, I had a custom scabbard made for it. The scabbard was made by DBK Custom Swords.

In 2011, I used this sword in my wedding.
