Albion Meyer
purchased in early 2007
My second training blunt from one of the really nice sword makers, this
sword is really hard to beat for sparring and practice. It's extremely
agile, has a perfect weight and balance, and has just the right amount
of flex in the blade to be safe for thrusting without being whippy or wobbly.
Albion has made a real winner here. I love my
A&A Fechterspiel, but the Meyer is just
plain awesome! (some of the pictures show both of these swords for
comparison)
Note- the blue grip is not standard. They come with a natural colored
cord wrap, which I dyed (which I did poorly, I might add).
