CAS-Iberia Steel-Hilt "Lionheart"
purchased roughly around 1999
Like my CAS Hand and a Half, this one
has ended up being a garb sword, often in conjunction with my
crusades-era outfits. Thus the rust visible on the hilt. Obviously
I'm no longer in the mindset of having absolutely no rust anywhere
at any time. :)
The blade is a bit thick, but it has a rugged feel to it. I have no idea
how resilient the hilt construction is or how thick the tang is. But
since I use it as garb primarily, it may not matter.
